Six franchises spend Rs 30.56 crore to acquire 97 players in Legends League Cricket auction

Legends League Cricket (LLC) has successfully concluded its player auction for the upcoming season, marking a major milestone in the league’s continued growth and global expansion.

All six franchises actively participated in the auction, collectively spending Rs 30.56 crore to secure 97 cricketing legends from across the world, according to an official LLC statement.

With an additional Rs 9 crore purse remaining, franchises are expected to further strengthen their squads through upcoming direct signings. This is set to significantly enhance the league’s star power and competitiveness, positioning the upcoming season as the most ambitious in LLC history.

The auction witnessed intense bidding for several globally renowned cricketers. Marquee signings include Harbhajan Singh, Chris Gayle, Dinesh Karthik, Martin Guptill, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Ross Taylor, and Carlos Brathwaite.

The inclusion of these iconic players further reinforces LLC’s standing as a premier platform that brings together legendary cricketers who have thrilled fans across generations.
